Few events on the NBA calendar generate more excitement among fans and bettors alike than All-Star Weekend, which begins Friday night in Indianapolis.

The annual tradition since 1951, the league’s midseason showcase has grown from a single exhibition game into a can’t-miss event featuring skills contests, concerts, celebrity games, and Hall of Fame announcements. Sportsbooks have recently begun cashing in on the excitement of All-Star Weekend by allowing fans to wager on the various events.

Bettors have a potpourri of wagering options, including the three signature events: the Starry Three-Point Contest, the AT&T Slam Dunk Contest, and the East vs. West All-Star Game. There are an almost infinite number of ways to wager this weekend, with star player prop bets, All-Star MVP futures, Rising Star Tournament and Skills Challenge props, and many others.

With so much going on in Indy, here is a brief primer (with odds) for the three signature events that will help you make sense of it all should you want to participate.
