Scottie Scheffler’s resume is eons away from Tiger Woods’ accomplishments but he is invoking Tiger-like treatment from oddsmakers and forcing them to consider unprecedented lore.
The SuperBook has posted 80-to-1 odds on Scheffler winning all four major championships in 2024. No player has ever accomplished this feat in the same calendar year. However, Woods once held all four major championships at one time, carrying over from 2000 to 2001.
Scheffler entered The Masters as the favorite with odds around +450, which are such short odds that have not been seen since Woods in his prime. Scheffler validated that respect by leading the field after each of the final three rounds to capture the green jacket.
Scheffler’s two Masters wins are his only major championships. Next up is the PGA Championship in mid-May at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville. He is the +400 favorite at DraftKings.
