After another dominant performance and victory, Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. is now a Heisman Trophy co-favorite with USC’s Caleb Williams at +400.

The redshirt senior threw for 304 yards and four touchdowns, as the seventh-ranked Huskies thumped Cal, 59-32. Penix entered the season at +1100 and will face Williams and eighth-ranked USC on November 4.

In his first game against a ranked opponent this season, Oregon’s Bo Nix threw for 276 yards and three touchdowns in a blowout win over undefeated Colorado. Nix’s Heisman odds are now +1200, which is about what they were when the season started.

Nix and the ninth-ranked Ducks will face both Penix and Williams this season.

Thirteenth-ranked LSU’s Jayden Daniels threw for 320 yards and four touchdowns in a narrow victory against Arkansas. His odds are +1800, ranking him sixth in the field.  Daniels’ next two games are against ranked opponents, and he is set to play 12th-ranked Alabama on Nov. 4.
