Team USA wraps up group play facing Puerto Rico before the medal round begins. beat. Team USA wraps up group play against Puerto Rico before the medal round begins. Americans with impressive convincing wins in their first two games, win and cover against Serbia. Definitely control the game against South Sudan, but knowhere close to covering. And it got a little hairy the second half. I believe the line or the margin got down to single digits,

We move along to Puerto Rico and this number is 33 and a half, 188 and a half. Puerto Rico just lost by 41 to Serbia. They’re banged up. Jose Alvarado did play, but there was a whether he would, so it just shows you kind of where the health is. If anything, I’m going to lay it with Team USA. But I think there’s other avenues to go and I think it’s player props.

Kevin Durant’s point total is 15 and a half. This guy missed all the exhibition games, played well in the Olympic games, but is Steve Kerr really going to play a guy who’s injury prone when he has, when he’s supposed to blow out Puerto Rico? mean, the margins, points spread 33 and a half. So why not give Durant just a little bit of action? He came off the bench in the last game. Now they did talk about how much they liked the cohesion of that second unit. So he’s probably going to get some run, but I think we’re going to see a lot of Halliburton. A lot of Anthony Edwards, a lot of Tatum. I think it’s going to be a lot of rest for guys like that.

Also, Anthony Davis, I would go under his points prop too. Here’s a guy who twisted his ankle in the first half against South Sudan and also injury prone at times. Why would you risk it when you need them healthy for the medal rounds and you don’t know who you’re to play? Unlike other group play situations, you can sort of strategize and know who you’re going to play. It’s just sort of a lottery. So I would just, if I’m Kerr, I’m going to barely play AD and I’m barely gonna play KD. So I would go under their points and if you lose you lose. Look, I don’t have the next day’s newspaper, but I do think that’s an intelligent way to approach this game given the circumstances going into the medal round.
