One of my favorite things to bet on Logan Webb at home. The guy has been lights out throughout his career when pitching at home. Let’s start the match up Blue Jays in town to face the Giants in the Bay Area, San Francisco minus buck forty here seven and a half your over under. So really pitchers dual expected which just tends to be the case in the San Francisco home games. But this Blue Jays lineup really been disappointing. One of the biggest disappointments in all of baseball is this Toronto team that is in last place.
As for Logan Webb, his splits this year aren’t huge, but worth noting. So at home this season, 2.13 ERA, an ERA just under four on the road. But look at his career, the last four years at least, it really sticks out except for 2022, he was great. But this is a guy last year, look at that road ERA compared to the home ERA, and he was in the Cy Young voting. So that’s the kind of guy you get at home, you get his best stuff.
He’s had just really strong stuff at home the last handful of years against a Toronto offense that’s been struggling. I think 140 is pretty cheap. I’ll even buy a piece of the first five as well. A little bit of a tax because it’s isolating Webb, but I still like the Giants here.
