Both the American and National Leagues have significant favorites to win the respective MVP awards, and now bettors can fade each by betting “the field” option at DraftKings.

This wagering option is essentially a YES/NO on Aaron Judge or Shohei Ohtani. Bettors can take the field, or “any other player”, at +240 odds in each league. So, rather than betting a particular longshot at specific odds, the option is to bet against the odds-on favorite winning the award.

At DraftKings, Judge of the New York Yankees is -310 to win the AL MVP and Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers is -290 for the NL. Those are the lowest moneylines in the market. For example, they are each -400 to win at Caeasars.
