The Boston Celtics enter the NBA postseason as a significant favorite with +165 championship odds, hoping to deliver on regular season dominance and avoid repeating recent playoff disappointment.

Boston owns the league’s top overall seed and will have homecourt advantage for as long as it remains in the playoffs. That stems from 64 wins, which rank fourth-most in franchise history. The Celtics led the league in offensive efficiency and finished third in defense.

The defending champion Denver Nuggets are the second favorite (+300) but are the second seed in the Western Conference.

The Clippers (+1200), Bucks (+1200) and Thunder (+1600) represent the rest of the top five favorites.

The first round begins this Saturday.
