MLB Prop Platter: July 17

By Kenny Burgess

Welcome to the daily MLB player props picks! We’re looking at some of the most enticing player props and diving into why we like the picks.

Miles Mikolas U 16.5 Outs Recorded -120

I love this pick tonight because Miles Mikolas just pitched against the Nationals. While it was only for three innings, I highly doubt Mikolas will get into the sixth inning tonight on two days’ rest — he’s never pitched on three days’ rest, let alone two. This makes this pick an absolute slam dunk with the line at -120.

Logan Webb O 5.5 Strikeouts -160

Logan Webb has had a fantastic season thus far and has been striking out a lot of batters as of late. In his past two games, Webb has recorded double-digit strikeouts and in six of his last ten games, he’s struck out at least six or more batters. Webb has a good matchup tonight against the Cincinnati Reds, who have the fifth-most strikeouts in the National League this season.

Mookie Betts O 1.5 Bases -135

Mookie Betts is one of the best players in baseball and has been nothing short of exceptional this season. Over his last 15 games, Betts has a batting average of .436 with eight home runs and a 1.018 OPS. Betts has also recorded two or more bases in five of his last six games, and I like his matchup tonight against Grayson Rodriguez, who is making his first MLB start since May 26.

If you’re feeling confident tonight, you could parlay all these picks at +418. This would be a nice payout if all of these picks cash. Either way, best of luck to all tonight and hopefully we win some money.
