Notre Dame is one win away from its first national championship since 1988, and the Fighting Irish will be underdogs regardless of their opponent.

Ohio State is still the -140 title favorite, even though the Buckeyes must win two more games and the Irish only have to win one.

Texas is a six-point underdog to Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl and is +450 to win the championship.

The Irish outlasted Penn State 27-24 in a thrilling Orange Bowl, as Mitch Jeter kicked a 41-yard field goal with 12 seconds remaining. That kick was set up after Nittany Lions quarterback Drew Allar threw an interception with 30 seconds left of a tie game.
