Anybody who follows this program or the site Onlyplayers .com or our app knows I’m pretty locked in with women’s basketball and it’s not just me, it’s my team behind me. And I have one guy who texted without inquiring. He said, Belgium minus three is a good one. So then I did some more research and it does make sense. Let’s check out the matchup, the final game of group play in women’s basketball in the Olympics. Belgium a three point favorite over Japan, the over under 145 and a half.

So, when you’re the final game of group play, you can do the transitive property thing and look at common opponents. Now, both of them lost to Germany, which is the second best team in the group behind Team USA. Both of them lost by the same margin, okay? Then they played Team USA, but Team USA blew out Japan by 25 and change. And then Belgium was a single digit game in the fourth quarter with the Americans. Now, you can’t overreact and just solely blindly follow that in terms of wagering, but you know, it does make sense. And if his math modeling likes Belgium as well, I’m willing to jump on it as well.

So middle of the night, Saturday night, Sunday morning, because of the time difference, but a little action. I’ll lay the three with Belgium. I will say Japan and Germany, that game was close. It should have been about a six point margin, end up being, I think double digits, like 10 or 11, just because of missed free throws at the end. But that was a tight game, but Germany led wire to wire for the most part. So I’m comfortable laying the three with Belgium.
