After a dominant win at the Masters, Scottie Scheffler and many of the world’s best players are headed p to Hilton Head Island for the RBC Heritage for one of the PGA Tour’s longest-running events and the fifth “Signature Event” of the season. Scheffler is the +400 favorite and seeks a fourth win in his past five starts.

A talented group of challengers awaits, as Ludvig Aberg (+1400) looks to build upon his Masters runner-up finish, while Xander Schauffele (+1100) continues to inch closer to another major breakthrough. And serious questions remain about players such as Jordan Spieth (+3000) and Rory McIlroy (+1200). While Spieth is a former winner of the Heritage, he badly missed the cut last week at The Masters. McIlroy was slightly more impressive, but he has yet to find any good results at Harbour Town – a course that will largely take the driver out of his hands and minimize his most valuable weapon.

Dates/Location:

What: RBC Heritage
Where: Hilton Head, South Carolina
When: Thursday-Sunday, April 18th – April 21st
Purse: $20 Million ($3.6 MM to winner)
Defending Champion: Matt Fitzpatrick (2023)

Harbour Town Golf Links is a par 71 and will play slightly longer than last year, coming in at 7,213 yards. It features some of the smallest greens on the PGA Tour, so strong iron play is a must for any contender in the tournament this week. The winning score has ranged from 9-under to 22-under each year since 2010, so there are opportunities to score historically.
