Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em: NFL Week 15

By Ryan Bologna

With week 15 in the NFL coming up, many fantasy football managers are have playoff matchups this week. Here is who top outlets recommend starting for this weekend’s games.

Quarterbacks

Justin Fields is facing the Eagles this week, but the outlets believe in him putting up a strong performance. Fields is one of the best running quarterbacks in the league, and that is one of the areas of concern on the Philadelphia defense. Fields has been a safe option for much of the season, and the outlets expect that to continue this weekend.

Jared Goff has been a good starter for many weeks this season, but he faces a tough test this week. The Jets defense is legit, they have pass rush and good secondary play. With this being a road game for the Lions, it might be wise to stay away from starting Goff this week.

Running Backs

Isiah Pacheco has been a valuable weapon for the Chiefs since taking over the starting role. The Chiefs are facing the Texans this week, who are the worst team in the league and are bad in every facet on defense. The starting running back who is facing the Texans is probably going to be a popular start for the remainder of the season.

Outlets are not as high on Devin Singletary this week. He is facing the Dolphins at home on Saturday. Outlets believe that the Bills will likely be more productive through the air, and that James Cook will continue eating into Singletary’s touches.

Wide Receivers

Michael Pittman was the most popular wide receiver this week. He is playing the Vikings this week. He should see plenty of targets, and the Colts could be playing from behind in this game. Outlets believe Matt Ryan will give him plenty of opportunities.

Outlets are not high on Amari Cooper this week. He is facing the Ravens, and it should be a low-scoring game. Deshaun Watson has shown a lot of rust since returning from suspension. Due to that, Amari Cooper is not a popular start this week, and might not for the rest of the season.

Tight Ends

Greg Dulcich has been up and down over the last couple of weeks. The Broncos offense showed some life last week against Kansas City. Jerry Jeudy was the main beneficiary, but outlets believe that Dulcich could be a decent player to start this week.

Outlets are not high on Dawson Knox this week. Like with Singletary, outlets don’t believe Knox will have as much as a role as other weapons like Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis will take up a good share of targets.
