The United States Football League (USFL) and the Extreme Football League (XFL) have been gaining momentum as alternative football leagues that offer fans a unique brand of football that sets them apart from the NFL. Although the XFL lasted for only one season, it was resurrected in 2020 and now it’s scheduled for its second rebirth in the upcoming 2023 season.
